Trusted chiropractic care for Athens

About 30 minutes (25.0 miles) from our Chandler office

Athens is the seat of Henderson County and a lakeside East Texas town built around a historic courthouse square, home to the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, the Cain Center & Park, and the shores of 1,800-acre Lake Athens. Hopson Chiropractic has served Tyler, Chandler and East Texas since 1999, and Athens patients are welcome at either of our offices — Chandler is the closer drive.

Whether it is back pain that has built up over years of work, neck pain from long hours at a screen, or sciatica that flares after a long drive, the approach is the same: a thorough exam first, a clear explanation of what we find, then a specific plan built around your goals.

From precise chiropractic adjustments and non-surgical spinal decompression to myofascial release and athlete care, Athens patients have access to everything we offer across our Chandler and Tyler offices. New patients are welcome, and our $49 new patient special covers your consultation, exam, X-rays, and first adjustment.

Why Athens, TX patients choose Hopson Chiropractic

Local, trusted care

Why Athens chooses Hopson Chiropractic

Athens anchors Henderson County as its county seat, built around the historic courthouse square, where downtown shops and the nearby Henderson County Historical Museum bring neighbors together, with the Cain Center & Park a short drive away. Families have settled in Southwood just inside Loop 7, on the gated lakeside lots of Oakwood along 1,800-acre Lake Athens, and in quieter areas like Bel Air and the gated Safari Waters Ranch community that Hopson Chiropractic is glad to care for. Whether your week revolves around Athens ISD schools, classes at Trinity Valley Community College's main campus, a morning walk through the East Texas Arboretum, or a weekend at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, our goal is simple: gentle, drug-free chiropractic care for every age, so back, neck, and joint pain stay out of your way.

Getting to us is an easy drive. Dr. Lana Hopson's Chandler office sits about 25 miles east of the Athens square on State Highway 31 — roughly a half-hour straight shot that leaves northeast Athens near Loop 7 and runs through Murchison and Brownsboro before reaching Chandler. That makes the Chandler location the closest Hopson Chiropractic office for Athens residents, whether you're driving from work near the US 175 and TX 19 corridors or heading home toward the Lake Athens side of town. From the 'Original Home of the Hamburger' to the shores of the lake, we're proud to help patients across Athens and Henderson County move and feel better.

What our patients say

Tyler — Dr. William Hopson

“Healing hands is how I describe Hopson’s chiropractor, made me feel so much better. I been in pain for years”
Susan Gonzales · Google
“Dr. William Hopson is very personal and professional. The first session is educational and thorough and includes X-rays. I have seen several other chiropractors and have experienced several different approaches to trying to solve my lower back pain and occasional neck and shoulder pain. After the first session with Dr. Hopson, I could tell I would finally have relief from chronic nagging lower back pain. I was skeptical that the relief would last so I returned for maybe one or two more sessions and my lower back pain has not returned for several months now!! I still visit his office on the rare occasion just to assure that no pain ever returns. I wish I could leave this review on all the competitors in town to save others the expense and time in pain. I can't recommend Dr. Hopson's chiropractic services enough!!!”
